RJOS Medical Students Committee

We love our medical students, and their enthusiasm for RJOS is contagious! This video highlights the students who attended our 2024 annual meeting in full force!

RJOS showcased the research talent of our membership at the 2024 and 2025 Annual Meetings! The program consisted of podium presentations, poster presentations, as well as an expert panel. Presenting authors for any studies selected as a podium presentation were awarded a scholarship to attend the 2025 RJOS annual meeting. Up to 8 studies were selected for podium presentation.

The Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society (RJOS) is transitioning from individual medical student chapters to a unified National Medical Student Committee to enhance collaboration and broaden opportunities for students in orthopaedics.
Medical students are encouraged to:
  • Join RJOS as student members for access to webinars, community forums, and leadership opportunities.
  • Form a “Women in Orthopaedics” chapter at their institution to create a local
presence and promote mentorship. Institutional chapters should be formed per guidelines for your program's student interest group. Please avoid using RJOS in the group name.
