Our Work

The Education Committee is dedicated to delivering continuous educational programming for RJOS members at every career stage, from students to practicing surgeons. We elevate our members as expert clinicians and sought-after speakers, and we expand research engagement through Research Surveys and the RJOS Annual Research Symposium.

Webinars

RJOS aims to provide educational webinars on both clinical orthopaedic topics and other topics relevant to its members.  Past webinars have included a Subspecialty Series (such as trauma, tumor, foot & ankle), Ergonomics for Surgeons, Alternative Careers After Orthopaedic Training, and many more.  We also sponsor an annual Presidential Book Club, led by the current RJOS President.

Please visit the RJOS calendar to register for our webinars.
To submit an idea for an upcoming webinar, please use this form.

Research Surveys

RJOS receives many requests to survey its members for the purposes of research studies.  All survey requests received from RJOS members will be reviewed by the Education Committee, with one selection per quarter. Only those surveys approved by the Education Committee and the Board, in accordance with the Survey Request Guidelines, will be sent to the RJOS membership. Please review our list of past surveys to ensure your request is not duplicative of past surveys. To submit a survey request, please contact us at info@rjos.org.

Annual Research Symposium

The RJOS Research Symposium occurs in conjunction with the RJOS Annual Meeting. The abstract submission window tends to open during the summer. Please note the submission criteria here. If you are interested in volunteering as an abstract reviewer (active members only), please contact info@rjos.org.

Speakers Bureau

Are you looking for a speaker for your event? RJOS has created a list of women in orthopaedics who can speak on various topics. We encourage groups and institutions to select RJOS representatives to speak at invited lectures, courses, and conferences.
